xoxoGG Jessica Szohr & Dove Reveals Real Life Gossip Girl Apr 19, 2009 10:46 AM people.com: As if she’s not busy enough with her starring role in Gossip Girl — and off-screen romance with costar Ed Westwick — Jessica Szohr is teaming up with Dove to host a series of mini-episodes that take you into a real-life version of those stylish young New Yorkers who inspired the show. GOSSIP GIRL: Real NYC Stories Revealed, part of Dove’s go fresh campaign, will feature “inspirational stories from four real girls who have grown up on the Upper East Side of New York City,” and how they deal with careers, finances, success and relationships. And one added bonus of her newest role, she points out, is getting to try out all Dove’s newest products. Her favorite? “Dove go fresh Burst Body Wash because it’s so important for me to start my day off right.” Overall, Jessica’s beauty philosophy falls in line with the Real Beauty concept that drew her to partner with Dove. “Less is certainly more when it comes to makeup for me,” she says. “When I am not working, I usually just rely on clean skin, soft skin then stick to the basics — foundation, powder and a great mascara.” But that doesn’t mean she doesn’t know how to get glam. “I love Nars lip glosses,” she says, and “Stila Smudge pots do amazing things for your eyes.” Be sure to tune in on Monday to see Jessica’s teaser for GOSSIP GIRL: Real NYC Stories Revealed then stick around after the show on the 27th to see how Dove’s real Gossip Girls compare the show’s on-screen characters.
xoxoGG Little J in Nylon Apr 18, 2009 10:41 AM Taylor Momsen a.k.a Little J is becoming quite the icon with today's media. She definitely is a rebel in front and outside the camera. In the May issue of Nylon Momsen wore the usal, sexy leather, carcoal eyeliner, and blood red lipstick.
xoxoCarly Could it be? {xoxo} Apr 15, 2009 7:47 AM Gossip Girl, sponsored by Verizon, usually hides the Apple logo any time a product makes an appearance, and they do make frequent appearances. So last week when Lily's MacBook Pro was blazing, I was surprised, but thought it could have been an oversight. Until, that is, Jenny was shown surfing Bluefly on a MacBook pro as well, and what was burning brightly? An Apple logo. Is this a sign of a partnership or of things to come?
